Teaching Introductory Stats using Bootstraps
For those interested, I am class-testing a textbook from Wiley Publishing that heavily uses resampling methods. The Authors are Lock, Lock, Lock, Lock and Lock (not a typo). If you would like to take a look, they have a website up at www.lock5stat.com. They also have a Java-based program called Statkey (on the web-page menu) that does bootstrap sampling tied to their examples in the text. I like the approach but I have to get used to teaching things in a totally different way.
